Closer Blurb

Closer is a collection of photos by Elinor Carucci that capture the intimate relations and moments in her family. She uses images that are both lovely and uncomfortable to invoke emotions in the viewer. Her macro images really allow you to see the textures of the human body and her other images allow you to see each individual body part as it interacts with the world. Her colors are very neutral and natural and to me that increases the intimacy and interaction within the piece.
